What is LLMRank?
LLMRank is a Shopify app that makes your product catalog discoverable by AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. It audits every product for AI readiness, generates structured data, and serves machine-readable endpoints directly from your Shopify domain via App Proxy.
How does the AI Readiness Audit work?
The audit scores every product from 0 to 100 across five deterministic rule categories: thin content, duplicate descriptions, structured data coverage, entity completeness, and internal linking. No LLM is called during the audit. The same product always produces the same score, making results reproducible and comparable over time.
What is BYOK and why does it matter?
BYOK stands for Bring Your Own Key. For structured data generation and query simulation, LLMRank uses the merchant's own LLM API key rather than routing traffic through Moneo infrastructure. Your API key is AES-256-CBC encrypted at rest and never appears in job payloads, logs, or serialized state. A Zero Retention Mode is available for merchants with strict data policies.
Does LLMRank work through my own Shopify domain?
Yes. All endpoints (Markdown snapshots, llms.txt, and the AI index) are served through your own Shopify domain via App Proxy. No subdomains, no third-party hosting. Your store's canonical authority is fully preserved, which is important for how AI systems attribute the content.
