Something went wrong
Try againA copy, not a re-render
Most online cutters decode and re-encode your whole video. We just copy the part you asked for.
Pick your video
Drag & drop or choose a file. It opens instantly in your browser. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Drag the two handles
Set a start and an end on the timeline and preview the selection. The tool shows you the exact frame your clip will start on.
Download
The selected packets are written into a fresh MP4 untouched. A seven second clip takes about twenty milliseconds.
Private by design. Free by choice.
100% private
Cutting runs entirely in your browser. Files are never uploaded, stored or logged.
Zero quality loss
Your video is never decoded or re-encoded. The output pixels are bit for bit the original ones.
Fast enough to feel instant
No encoding pass means no progress bar to sit through. Most clips are ready in well under a second.
Audio stays in sync
The audio track is copied and realigned to the same cut point, so speech never drifts away from the picture.
Works with big files
The file is read in chunks straight from your disk instead of being loaded whole, so multi gigabyte videos open fine.
No watermarks, no limits
No signup, no length caps, no upsell walls. Files up to 2 GB.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The tool is a static page and there is no backend. Your file is read from your own disk, processed in your browser and written back to your downloads folder. It never touches the network.
Why does my clip start slightly earlier than I asked?
Because we do not re-encode. Video frames are stored in groups that begin with a keyframe, and only a keyframe can be decoded on its own. Cutting mid group would need a re-encode, so the start snaps back to the nearest keyframe instead. The tool always tells you the exact point it will use.
Does cutting reduce the quality?
Not at all. The compressed video data is copied across untouched, so the result is identical to the matching stretch of the original. Tools that re-encode always lose a little quality on every pass.
Which formats can I use?
MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV files open, including H.264, HEVC and AV1 video. The output is always an MP4 so it plays everywhere, including Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.
Is there a file size limit?
The tool accepts files up to 2 GB. Because the video is read in chunks rather than loaded into memory all at once, large files are fine even on modest machines. Very old phones may struggle with the largest files.
Which browsers are supported?
Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox works, on desktop and mobile. Nothing needs to be installed and there is no extension to add.
